Warranty Coverage

Our products are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

This warranty does not affect your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws in the United Kingdom.

Warranty Period

The warranty period begins on the date of purchase and varies by product type. Please refer to your product documentation for specific warranty duration.

What is Covered

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Material defects
  • Workmanship issues

What is Not Covered

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by misuse, mishandling, or improper storage
  • Damage from accidents, natural disasters, or environmental exposure beyond permissible limits
  • Unauthorised modifications or repairs
  • Use of the product for purposes other than intended
  • Failure to notify mdi within the applicable warranty period

How to Make a Warranty Claim

To make a warranty claim, please contact mdi Customer Service with:

  • Proof of purchase (invoice or shipment document)
  • Product Lot Number or traceability information
  • A brief description of the issue

mdi may request a sample of the affected material for investigation. If the defect is confirmed to be due to an mdi manufacturing issue, a replacement (full or partial) will be provided.

Returned defective materials become the property of mdi. Replacement items are covered for the remaining period of the original warranty.

Limitation of Liability

This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied. Our liability is limited strictly to the repair or replacement of the defective product and does not extend to any consequential or indirect damages.

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes liability where such limitation or exclusion is prohibited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Jurisdiction

All disputes arising from or related to this warranty shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts under the Crown, United Kingdom, and governed by applicable UK consumer laws.

mdi reserves the right to update or amend this warranty policy at any time without prior notice. The terms in effect at the time of purchase shall apply to the respective product.
